During the year it took Dennis Smith and Gareth Harris to cast, weld and polish the statue of Kate Moss, prices of gold rose by around 60 percent.

For several years we made two collections a year for Links creative director Elizabeth Galton. We had great fun and overcame tremendous challenges.

A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

The rather unlikely scenario of Smith & Harris joining forces resulted from conversations with their respective partners at the time as to whom each would favour as a business partner.

THE COMMISSIONING OF CUPS

The Committee was keen to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Society by commissioning a piece of silver. Gareth Harris is a former chairman of the Society and his firm, Smith & Harris, were asked to come up with a design.
